Cisco Hacker Vulnerability Problems

Matt Peterson of MD Buyline reports on Cisco Systems' recent security woes.

Cisco Systems, serving up to 80% of all enterprise IT
networks, seeks to protect against the threat of this danger by employing 1,500
security engineers, acquiring three IT security companies at $148 million, and
issuing 10 operating system advisors [sic] in the past two years. However, an
information-security researcher had demonstrated at July's Black Hat conference
how Cisco's Internetwork Operating System (IOS) could not only be definitively
shut down but remotely controlled. Cisco later sought a court order to silence
the researcher.
