As promised, here are the revisions to the site template (the code-thingy that determines how all the pages look).
One of the biggest incentives to change was all the folks that hit my site from search engines - they may get one post on, say VeriChip or RFID, but miss all the rest. So I've added a "How to find stuff" explanation at the top of the left column.
My next biggest incentive was to lose the photo of yours truly. I know the smiling mug is a common feature of many consultants' web sites, but I was getting tired of looking at myself every single day (and thought you might be too). So, I've relegated my digital visage to the Contact tab - it is nice meeting people for the first time and having them able to recognize me.
I've noticed that more and more of you are accessing my content via RSS and News Readers - FeedDemon, My Yahoo, Bloglines, etc. So, to make it easier to subscribe to my site I've added a section on subscribing. You can now get daily email digests of my posts too (and no, I won't spam you).
And finally, as those who know me are aware, I'm an obsessive photographer. I'm rarely without my camera, and have added a feed of Connectologist photos from Buzznet. Scroll down, you can't miss 'em.
Let me know what you think of the changes - do they make things a bit more clear? If you have any technical difficulties with these changes send me an email.
Happy New Year!
