AAMI 2006

AAMI-2006

I'll meet anyone who wants to get together and chat Sunday evening at 7pm in Harry's Pub at the Wardman Park Marriott (after the Exhibits close). Everyone's welcome.

There are lots of interesting sessions on the agenda, and the following are a few that caught my eye. I noted with a chuckle that there's a Saturday session at 1:45pm to 3:00pm titled, “New WMTS Band Interference Issues and
the Future of Telemetry Equipment
.” Another interesting Saturday session is, “Physiologic Alarms: Techniques For Standardizing Alarms in Your Institution,” – this one's on from 3:15pm to 4:30pm.

Sunday is another full day, with sessions on executive dashboards, medical device connectivity, and RF wireless in health care. Monday has some interesting sessions on wireless infrastructure (here, and here). At the end of the day there's also a session on “smart” pumps that should be interesting.
