Feds Release Guidance on HIPAA During Disasters

The Office of Civil Rights in the HHS has created a tool for emergency response planners to help determine how to do their job and comply with the HIPAA privacy rule. The decision support tool walks you through a series of questions to determine when and how individually identifiable health information can be released. Here's a link to the tool.
