This is not a general health care information site, nor is it intended to be used by patients or family members seeking medical advice or information about the use and operation of medical devices or related software.

On this site you will find news and opinion regarding health care, medical device connectivity and related issues. The costs of this site are underwritten by Medical Connectivity Consulting as a service to the industry. You are encouraged to join the conversation via the comments at the bottom of each story or blog post.

Policy on Comments

Comments can be educational in nature or express an opinion - with some supporting rationale, please. Mentioning vendors or commercial interests in passing, in a way that contributes to the discussion is encouraged - solving problems usually entails buying something, and getting suggestions about what to look at, and why, is a good thing. COMMENTS THAT ARE UNDULY PROMOTIONAL WILL BE EDITED OR DELETED.  I reserve the sole right to determine when a commercial message crosses the line.

The software on the site enables commenters to receive attribution and visibility through their comments that includes a link to their web site. Your email address is requested but is only available to the blog post’s author. It is up to the commenter to say something so brilliant as to compel readers to click the links in order to find out more about you or your company.

Contributors

As you may notice, I am not the only contributor to this site. Each contributor’s byline, at the end of each post, includes both a link to their profile where you will find a link to their website, an email address, and a list of all their contributions.

Neither my company or myself personally, receives any remuneration for posts written by me, or from contributors for the opportunity to post on this site. Contributors are selected solely on the basis of their ability to contribute the the advancement of connectivity and the quality and safety of the delivery of health care.

If you’re interested in contributing, and are an industry participant in the role of provider, vendor, regulator, journalist, etc., let me know. Please, no offers to swap content for links or exchanging links.
