CMS: Free EMR Rollout Still On Track
In another reversal of the running “we were just kidding” gag at CMS, CMS administrator Mark McClellan says that the rollout of free VistA-Office EMR software will begin in “the coming days.”
“We are getting very close to the point of release,” McClellan told attendees at a healthcare IT conference in Washington, D.C.
