Okay, we've got a time and a place: we're shooting for the same time slot as last year - Sunday evening right after the official opening reception at 8:00 pm.

The place will be right across the street from the convention center at a Cajun restaurant and bar called Mulate's, on the corner of Julia Street and Convention Center Blvd. I've had lunch at Mulate's numerous times over the years and they make a great bowl of gumbo. Here's a Google Map for those not familiar with the area around the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, or the directionally challenged (that would be me).

The place we selected last year in San Diego was perfect; there were just a few regulars besides our group and we had a great time. Last November at RSNA, I made the mistake of choosing the bar in the Hyatt that's attached to McCormick Place. I did find Brad, but never found anyone else in the horde of what must have been hundreds of people.

We'll be meeting in the bar - I don't expect much of a crowd, what with the French Quarter a few blocks away. So, cross your fingers and get ready for a great time.
