KLAS' market perception study put Picis at the top of the list in functionality and clinical usage.
KLAS' third annual surgery management report studied Picis, Cerner,
Meditech, GE, Mediware, SIS, McKesson, Per-Se, and USA. Results were
based upon 381 interviews with healthcare providers representing IT
managers, operating room (OR) managers and nurses. For the first time,
this year's report evaluated additional areas such as anesthesia module
use, documentation strengths and perceived benefits of using the
software. This reflects hospitals growing need to address the entire
surgical experience both clinically and financially rather than being
satisfied with automated surgical scheduling.
